Back at October’s Carole Nash-sponsored Stafford classic event we were delighted to welcome a crew from BBC Radio Lancashire who broadcast their live afternoon show from the venue on set-up Friday.

They must have got a taste for it, because it’s now confirmed that the team will return to Staffordshire County Showground in on April 21 for another special programme from the heart of the biggest classic bike show in the world.

The link-up originally came about through regular showgoer John Abram who often appears as motorcycle correspondent on John Gilmore’s programme on the station, and uses many of his slots to talk up the Stafford events and their various attractions.

John’s Motorcycle News
As well as his radio endeavours, John – along with colleague Michael George – has created the John’s Motorcycle News website which officially launched at the Stafford show in April 2015.

Set up as a non-commercial interest, the duo wanted to launch an informative and interesting site using their years of experience and knowledge in the scene. They have one main aim: to only include details of organisations, products, places and events that they could (hands on hearts) personally recommend.

As well as providing a wealth of information on classic motorcycles and for classic motorcycle owners, the pair have used the site to support many charities – details of which can be found on a dedicated section of the site.
